I have just bought a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and the power windows do not work, all of them will not go up or down. I found the fuse in the side panel and swap it out and nothing..any idea's???

well at least they are staying up which should mean its not the regulator. it could be the motor but not likely since its all 4 but that is what i would check first. and 90% of the time with the window motors if you pull them apart the copper brushes get dirty and don't make contact and so just clean the brushes and that's an easy way to fix the motor. i had 3 motors stop on my kj and that fixed it every time. but i also couldn't imagine the switches going out on each door but who knows. also do the switches light up with the headlights on or no?

Thats a good point..
Dumb question, but has to be asked.
Have you tried opening the windows from another door instead of the drivers?
Maybe just the drivers' switched are unhooked or malfunctioning.

Good luck!

That is a great question. If they windows are working from the individual door switch, than it is most like just the driver's control panel. I think you started in the right place with the fuse, but keep looking for an additional fuse box that you could change. Generally there is one under the hood and under the steering column. You might inspect further and pull the door panel off to make sure all connections are made correctly. It might be time to take it to someone with more experience. Have you thought about using angies list?

Check the wires in the drivers door jam, they brake all the time and this is one of the symptoms.
