The diffs and bearings are shot on my 98 GC 4.0 and am looking at repair vs replace. I have the Dana 35/30 combo - was told it isn't worth it to go with the Super-35 as there are still base parts that are weak. But I do want to install lockers. So the question is, if I upgrade my engine adding 50 more HP, add lockers, and up my wheels to 33", are rebuilt Dana 35/30 axles good to handle that? Or should I go with something like a Ford 8.8 (not sure what I would use in the front)? (I don't do heavy rock crawling, but do have a heavy foot!).
