You just added at least 100 pounds to your rig in just the front axle. Sure you don't want that second turbo on the 4bt?

Yea, its about 92lbs but its unsprung weight. I would love another turbo, are you giving it away? If so I'll take it  I needed the truss because of the Jeeps weight, 6K bearing down on an axle, not even a 60 can go it alone. Not only that, I'm gonna run fill hydro steering, and I need a decent ram mount.

Sure I have tons of turbos laying around. I will let you know when I get yours in the mail. And now I understand the need for all the truss work. Especially for the hydraulic steering system looking forward to seeing it when you get it in the rocks.

Sweet! I'll take all the free parts I can get hahaha

I wanted to use a king pin axle, but I couldn't find the incredibly rare king pin '90 housing. The 91.5-97 housing has 3" of tube on the driver side, witch means the casting is pushed way over. I needed it as far over as possible, because the oil pan is less then 2" away from the drive shaft at full bump. There's a couple company's that make high steer ball joint knuckles, but there ungodly expensive. Not only that, most of them are only drilled for Chevy spindles.

Why not of chosen a top loader center and had a set of tubes made. That way you could tailor your knuckles and your axles to your rig. Or if you got really brave you could portal it so you would have extremely low gearing and ground and pan clearance. By the way talking about this is going to really hurt my wallet later when I go to build mine. :ROTFL:

Thanx.

I would love to custom build an axle, but I don't have that kind of cash. It's a high pinion 60, just not king pin.

I plan on spider nines with high nine centers for my liberty build. But considering all the weight you will have on my Libby with that beautiful 4bt I understand the need for the 60 and the hydraulic steering. But she does look good hope to see it wheeling in a lost event eventually.

Progress is slow, but little by little.

I started building an MJ because my brother stole my other grand. Its gonna be my beater/dirt riot racer, and Iv been spending a lot of time/money working on it. Candy hasn't gotten anything sense the truss, I need to quit putting it off and get to work. I just don't have any money, I need some sponsors! :JEEPIN:
