hey i am in the process of rebuilding my 99 wk Limited it has a 4.7 engine in it. im about to start getting the parts for it. Just had the Block dipped cleaned and had new freeze plugs put in, heads pressure tested and valve job also cleaned up. My question is there any rod that would work out of a 5.2 or etc that would help with like being a upgrade then factory. longer stroke or a better rod. i mad the mistake in junking all my rods but its alright i can get everything for the engine from where i work for about nothing except the rods we do not carry. so im trying to see if i can put a different kind of rods in it that maybe we would carry. thanks for looking.

go back all forged get a charger kit from paxton and put a 1.5 bell on it and get an ECM from B&G Performance, it'll run ya roughly 4-6kish all things considered depending on the new or used status and how much it ends up running to get the charger operating as new

none of the v8 4.7 stroker builds were impressive what so ever, and alternative engine swaps for the WJ are a PITA due to the 4.7 being low and wide and typical desired swaps, hemi mags etc, being tall and narrow

or go a bit milder on the pocket and get some performance cams ground, the B&G perf kit and retune the injectors and get mild head jobs and you can probably walk out with another 50-75 grunts for about 2g's - or some combination of the above and just make sure it's running like a singer sewing machine and be happy with an extremely well running and dependable build

sorry about the rain showers
