Just picked up a new 2012 GC limited and noticed something strange. On my 08 Liberty, if even with the knobs on my auto climate control turned off, if I hit the remote start and it needed heat or defroster, it turned them on automatically. This morning i hit remote start, but I had the AC system set to OFF, and it never turned on to defrost or cool down the vehicle. Isn't it supposed to turn on with remote start if it needs to defrost or cool down the interior?
