I have a 2007 Grand Cherokee with the deisel. It has been giving me intermittent shifting problems. When I start it, if the brake, ABS, ESP and BAS lights stay lit I know it won't shift out of 1ST gear. Also the speedometer does not function. You can drive it and the lights will go out the speedometer starts to work and it shifts. Also the same thing can happen while driving and it will stay in whatever gear it's in until the lights go out again. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance Bruce |

That vehicle isn't my wheelhouse, but I would start by checking the ABS lines from hub to module, and the vehicle speed sensors on the transmission. |
