Currently researching and probably going to hit the dealers to check out new and used Cherokee's this weekend. Just out of curiosity, what is the largest AT tire you can put on a stock set up? Also, what is the better model/year to look into, completely new or ??

Primarily a daily driver with some light offroading, nothing to extreme.

Thanks in advance!

Probably would not be able to fit anything larger than a 30" tire without some sort of lift.

I'm gonna bet you will only be finding Used Cherokees as they have not made any new ones since 2001. Also be surprised if any new car dealers have them on their lots as all I have seen these days are on used car dealer lots. 30's are about right on a stocker.

I found the same problem a few years ago. All the dealers still wanted way too much for a used Cherokee.

Best deals I found then was like $8,000-$9,000 for '95-'98 years with almost 200,000 miles.

I found one in my local sale adds from a seller for $3,800 obo, '96 one owner with 100,004 miles. I ended up getting it for $3,600 cash.

Car dealers suck, Used car dealers really suck.
