I came across one and am considering picking it up I know it has the 8.25 in the rear 29 spline but I am reading that in front it has the lp30 and only 27 spline in the lp30, can that be right? |

I know HP30 is preferred but how is the durability on the LP30? If I pick this up I only plan to run 33's with 4.56 |

spline count doesn't matter... All that this refers to is the number of splines on the axle shaft. Only the gear ratio makes a difference |

HP is just prefered for a few strength and driveline angle related issues that are not that big of a deal until you get to larger size tires, etc. Plenty of 33" tire equipped LPD30s running around out there. |
