Ok I just got a 97 xj country. I would like to lift it in the 2.5 - 3 inch range but I'm on a limited budget. So what would be a good, fairly reliable, and all parts included lift, and where to find it. thanks

Matt

thats the best way to go about it, but if your looking for an actual manufaturers kit, skyjacker makes a 3" as well as rough country.

so does OME, which is amazing for the KJ so I would think that for the XJ it would be just as good.

I would by rusty's before I spent money on Skyjacker or rough county XJ lifts, and I would never buy any of Rusty's XJ stuff, except maybe the front coils, but they are a little too soft for my liking. OME if you have the money, Rubicon Express AAL kit isn't too bad for an AAL, just make sure it is the long AAL, or do the homebrew setup in my link. If I actually got paid for all the people who have done used my tech article and called or emailed me about how happy they are with it, I would be writing about this from my yacht.
