I decided to go with the Rock Lizard sliders.

I'll post pics when they are bedlined and installed.

It was the 3.5" RE Super ride with the stock wheels and 265/75r16s BFG All-Terrians. It was a great kit, but being poor i got the AAL and regretted it right away and ended up adding a set of 1" teraflex shackles to bring it back up just a bit higher then the front. First Jeep I ever built, and all when I was 17-18 and all by myself :D Thats probably why I miss it so much.
Ended up trading it straight for my 06 KJ

Haha i could but i like the KJ a lot too. Just don't have the money for the stuff i want and aftermarket stuff is a lot harder to come by!!
Oh and the fact that I own a Jeep with a decent value I'm afraid to do some little things like bed-line the bumpers flares and lower sections of the doors drill holes for lights etc.
I still really want to make a front and rear bumper as well as rock rails, but have no experience with that.. Probably try rock rails first since they seem the simplest.
Just need to find the 1/4" metal for cheap and practice welding a lot more!
Oh and I didn't mean to thread jack you :D

No problem! It’s sometimes quiet over here on the XJ side of the forum, :ALONE: so it’s nice to hear from someone. :CAMPING: Hopefully I'll get some parts in soon and things will get a little more exciting. :pepper:
