So my buddy was driving home with his 98 XJ 4x4 4.0 5 speed, when he went to hit the clutch shifting to second or third? and it was stiff, he hit it pretty hard it pressed down a little and shut the car down. Now it sits in a parking lot with a clutch that moves about 1/2-1" and then is stiff and will not start since the clutch is not pushed it,
He can't afford to fix it so i bought it from him for $600 to fix up.
I was thinking its the slave cylinder/master cylinder, but anyone have any ideas??
