Finished up my front bumper and mounted a Warn m8000 i got for free off craigslist on it. I have a set of 4.88s on order, and will be buying some 35x12.5x15 KM2s soon.

Also, cut the old dented rockers out and welded in some 2x6 rectangle tube.

Got my d44 with 4.88s under the Jeep and threw on a set of 35x12.5x15 KM2s. Also built a rear bumper and rear crossover shock mount alot like the JKS version.

Lookin good. Been in the FL panhandle lately? I saw a similar red 2 door with a stinger on the front the other day on the Highway 98.

She is coming along nicely, I really like the bumpers. I have always liked the 2 door XJs (i wish they made a 2 door KJ)

Your bumpers are some of the best I have ever seen for an XJ, great job on them!
Your XJ just keeps getting better

Thanks Tom, I actually sold the front bumper about a week ago for a few hundred bucks, and am making a new one now. Winch will be behind the front crossmember, and it sticks out less then 3" from the grille. Im liking the look of it so far more then my first one.

Opened the wheel wells backwards 4 inches by cutting out the inner and out fender, and welding in a section in the middle. Plated the rear frame rail with 3/16s from the spring hanger all the way to the rear x member. Bent up some hoops and mounted the shocks.

Nice build! How do you like the KM2's? I have been thinking about a set for my TJ..

Theyre awesome. Super grippy on the rocks, aren't to loud on the road, and are true to size. I love them and would buy them again if I had the cash. I got a super good deal on my current set- $800 for 4 KM2s with less then 500 miles on them, and a brand new goodyear MT

Nice, thats what I'm thinking about getting for my TJ when I'm ready. I had the first genn of BFG Mud terrain on my YJ and loved them. Is this XJ your daily driver?
