WELL My brother in law sold his Farm and to celebrate he had me build him a little XJ trail rig.

Bought a 2001 XJ at the Albuquerque Auto auction low miles 40,000 and like new condition

custom width dana 60's, HP front, LP rear. CTM U joints, 35 spline axles, ARB's, 4.88 gears. 2 onboard air units, custom bumpers skids, steering, including hydro assist. IT was a fun build.

trail beady beadlocks, 35" MTR's, TJ fender flares. TNT Y link front suspension, custom made rear leafs. rancho 9000's with in cab adjusters. Atlas Transfer case

I think the TJ flares on an XJ look tacky but needless to say, I bet its a beast.

Sweet XJ! You have any more pics of that front bumper? And out of curiosity, why go with an LP D60 in the back if you had a HP up front? Wouldnt you lose ground clearance?

Strength, a standard rotation {LP}for rear application is stronger and reverse rotation {HP}for the front is stonger

The front bumper is a PROTOFAB4x4 winch bumper.........the best built bumper out there for an XJ.

Not there to be pretty but meet AZ highway requirements. See I build them to be friendly down the highway at 80 with the cruise and AC on.........no trailer queens allowed!

was a gummit trade in, the lady driving it buried it in the mud on the Navajo Reservation. they cleaned it up and dumped it on the market. Its a jeep their supposed to go into the mud!
