Any 2.1L Cherokee\Commanche Diesel owners out there? Just acquired an '86 Cherokee 5sp 2wd 4dr, 90kmi, in (un)fairly bad condition, posting my preliminary findings, initial discoveries and reference data in the Jeep Diesel-fueled Vehicles forum - will edit as time and info progresses - feel free to post your info\experiences there - NO flame wars, please, tho negative owner-derived experience is welcome - the topic is about discovery and future reference for those Diesel XJ\MJ owners who have been feeling even more abandoned (by DCJ) and alone than the Liberty KJ CRD people Wow - that NAXJA board is something else - some of the forums have over a million views, some over a hundred thousand posts - holy carpal tunnel syndrome, there, Batman! |

I’ve never owned or driven a diesel XJ/MJ model, but I’ve seen a few advertised, etc. As a matter of fact, Sir Sam saw one on Craigslist a few nights ago. I can get the newer XJ EURO diesels from overseas that would bolt in nicely. |

I've gotten a few responses over on NAXJA, but none from current owners - looks like this project's gonna be slow and lonely So, what's the specs on the Euro XJ engine? Main thing I've acquired is an XJ with a Diesel title and VIN, making all things possible, if you can ascertain my meaning......... |
