Driving the XJ today in town and a light came on that said check gauges. So I looked at the Alt/batt gauge and it was pegged at 19 volts. Pulled over shut it off could not find anything noticeably wrong. Battery was not hot. So fired it back up gauge was normal. It did it twice today. The only thing I can think of is the regulator. I just have never seen one go out like this. Any Ideas? |
