Jeep is back together but I ran into an issue Friday night with it not getting fire to the plugs. Traced it back to a fuse on the fender well. Replaced it around midnight Friday night. She fired off so we decided to finish up the minor stuff in the am. Sat after a fiasco with getting the tags and getting my son picked up on time. Got back to the jeep around 1pm. No start

.....Plenty of fire acted as if it didn't have enough gas so in went 2 gal. no fire just light off and sputter die. so traced wires all the way from the front to the rear and found out that the new fuel pump I installed 2 weeks ago is fried. All the wires were melted. ( the ones inside the tank the ones outside were fine....Hmmm can anyone say BOOM! ) So put in the call to autozone for a replacement was told 7pm...grabbed the old one plugged it in it came on... so i put it in better fire but not enough to keep it running. Would idle good for a min, idle real high, then sputter to a stop. Long story short after a very frustrating day we did not make it to Hogan's.
But i did get everything hooked up, seats in, offensive stickers removed, drive lines installed, and the t-case will shift into 4 hi, neut, and 4 lo, seems to not want to go into 2 lo but that could be fluid? Or is the 231 one of those you have to back up for a bit to take it out?
Once i am able to get it to move under its own power I will get some pics up.
Oh and where can i get a cheap windshield installed? i was trying to break the torque from the steering wheel nut and the wrench slipped and went flying.......
