home brew budget boost
http://www.rocklizardfabrications.com/h ... _boost.htmmy xj had a rustys kit when i purchased it. im ok with the lift because i didnt pay for it and the xj was meant for trails only(i drive it on the street alot cause its fun). it rides rough but its because of the poor control arm angles in the front and shackle angle in the rear. the rustys components have a lifetime warranty on them. which i have used and was hassle free.
if i were to start over i would go with this

http://www.liquidironindustries.com/pro ... ctid=18222what you need in a good lift is:
adjustable aftermarket track bar
good front control arm angle, longarms are best
flatter leaf springs will flex better then those of a higher arch. try and stay away of add-a-leafs because they are notoriously stiff.
45 degree shackle angle
properly matched bumpstops and shocks
other things to consider are upgraded steering and driveline angles.
