| Post subject: | Rocking vehicle to start engine |
It's been a while since I have started the old 1988 Cherokee in my yard. As long as I remember, it has been hard to start. The engine would turn over but you have to rock the vehicle back and forth and try to start it again. It usually reliably starts after 3 tries max. What would be the cause of rocking it back and forth making it start? My uneducated guess is maybe some clog in the fuel system getting moved when rocking the suspension? |
