Howdy. I'm having a wiring issue with a motor swap. I removed trans, tcase, engine from a 99 XJ and am putting it in a very good condition (no rust, paint isn't great) 96 XJ for a winter beater. Anyway

The 4 plugs that are on the firewall just off center on the passsenger side are my problem. I know 2 are for the Trans, as i have already did the harness/trans mods for it to work. But what are the other 2 for?

Is there anyway you can take pics of where these are and what they plug into? Or just tell me where the 2 that do not plug into the trans go?

Here is a shot of the harness setup on the 99. The 96 has the 2 simmillair to the 99's but in the place of the big rectangle plug it has 2 smaller ones just like the ones in the 99 pic for a total of 4.

I looked at a friends. His are standards but it looked to be the same plug/color combos. the square one runs to the Tcase, and the other runs to the rear O2 sensor. Now i have to locate either the other harness or see where the run from. Atleast i have something to work with now.
