Post subject:  Good Deal?
I have a friend looking to buy 98 Cherokee with 100K. It has the 4.0L engine, automatic transmission it is only twoo wheel drive :cry: power windows and a they are asking $2K for it. What do you guys think? I know she is looking for a daily driver. I don't know much about the Cherokee's is there is anything I should look for? Anything thing these are notorious for?

That was my first thought as well. I am going to look at it with her tomorrow. I know she already said the interior looked brand new. She won't be going off asphalt with it so being a 2 wheel drive is not a problem.

yes
if it's not beat up that is a good deal... i've been looking at prices here in houston and the best I found so far is a 99 with 134k for 4200 And that was hard to find

Anything newer than a 98 down here is going for 5k-10k
