I ordered a 2007 Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited today. So I am now officially announcing the beginning the dyslexic L.O.S.T. JKs. It gets worse. My intials are JK. My wife's initials are JK. So before too long it will be JK and JK's KJ and JK. Or should that be JK and JK's JK and KJ? But if we look in the mirror, will it instead be KJ and KJ's KJ and JK? Or? I think I am confusing myself. What do you expect from someone who is L.O.S.T.?

JK, KJ, seems you can't go wrong either way! :D I think you should break it in on the drive to Moab. 8)

Way to go Jack. Once you take delivery, you've got to come out on a run with us. I'd love to see one of them wheel in person.

Oh yeah, Chefdab, looking forward to a run with the guys. Sorry we didn't make it down this fall but....

Once I get the JK modded, I'll have to do a comparison. Run the same trail in my KJ and then in my JK. Should be interesting. My guess in the KJ will go anywhere the JK goes until it runs out of ground clearance.

I'm planning on 3 inches of lift and 35s so the JK may have a little advantage in the ground clearance, even with the longer wheel base.

And CaKJFreedom, the wife and I want so much to get back to Moab with the gang, but I got this teaching obligation thing. We're hoping maybe next year I can get two weeks off in April. So close, because I'm done by mid May but yet so far because the grad students get a bit cranky when the prof disappears just before finals! Jeez, they even put my name on the office door. I kinda shoulda sorta oughta show up for class.

Oooooo. What kind of rims are those, they're nice. Alloys or steel?

That my JK right there! Silver w/ black. Looks like it is the popular color, the few I see around here are silver plus the odd green one. My in-laws opted for the dark green though they were thinking about silver initially.

I think that "Rescue Green" color is ugly.. It was cool at first until we actually looked at it on an X model.. Didn't like it.. The Steel Blue is nice and so is the silver and Lt Greystone (My Favorite color.. :D).. Jeep Green is really nice.. But being in the south.. It is too dark.. You have to have a light color.. Getting into a hot Jeep stinks...

I kinda like the funky green color but I wouldn't own it. Just not my style. (whatever that is?) My favorite colors I have seen in person so far are the Silver, white, dark green & blue.

Not mine but that is the color I ordered - Rescue Green - you really do not think this looks hot?? I probably will not go with black steelies - dont't know yet.
By the way - as of March 14th 2007 Rescue Green color is out - in comes Detonator Yellow....
Most likely I'll be going with this tire setup.....

From what I got from the JK Forum... Rescue Green is being replace by a nice Yellow color.. So all Rescue Green Jeeps will be considered limited production..

Yes! :D My Red Rock Crystal Rubicon Unlimited is in D status. That means "firm schedule - dealer has allocation and all parts available." The hold up according to my dealer was the issue with the hard top leaking.
