Whats wrong with taking a little extra care in not chipping the paint?

Jk unlimited, A little more power would be nice. love the 4 doors. I'm not worried about breakover angles. I enjoy a little challange when I'm wheeling.

This is by far my favorite jeep/ car/ truck of all time. I have owned bmw, benz, 68 gtx street rod, firebird, mustang, yj, liberty etc.

Just seems a little unecessary since they gonna get scratched if offroaded, but to each his own 8)

I don't know about the US but here in Canada a brand new two door JK sells for less that a 06 or 07 TJ (approx $21,000 Cdn).

If you don't want to spend that much then a street driven TJ would make a good daily driver. Nothing beats driving down the highway with the top off.

I wonder if I can take the top off my KJ....hmmmm...where's my cutoff saw?

Last year I went in to buy my first Jeep. I test drove a Wrangler nice set up , but the first hting I noticed was when I closed the drivers door the door felt like it was real up close to my side. 6 months before this I had Stomach by-pass surgery, So after having lost over 130 lbs. prior to this test drive . It just felt small and close, I then remember talking to someone who had said before spending my money on this style do myself a favor and test drive a Liberty. I was immediately noticed the roominess, not to mention the extra creature comforts. Yeah it's not a traditional Jeep, but I truly love the extras and since I found out about L.O.S.T. have found a pleathera of after market toys I didn't know existed before.
But admittedly agree to the old saying "IF Mamas Not Happy Nobodys Happy" so what ever keeps peace in the family is your best bet Good Luck 8)

Can't say I find anything I don't like about the new JK...this is my 6th Wrangler/CJ, and it is the best Jeep I have ever owned...have a X model, 2 dr, with half doors, and an unusual factory equipped set up...I have both front and rear Dana 44 axles (front is only reserved for the Rubicon model), electronic sway bar disconnect and rear lockers...I also have the Rubicon rock rail (again, standard only on the Rubi), and it is all reflected on the factory sticker...this is unusual, but I'm not complaining...haven't changed anything other than remove the front air dam and replaced it with a Skid Row front skid plate, and changed the tires to 285 75 17 BF Goodrich MT TA KM2 on Rubicon 17x7.5 rims (that came with the vehicle)...no lift was needed, and so far, I get no rub; oh...and I replaced the steering stabilizer with a BDS one...factory one looks real anemic compared to any after market one.
