Unless you really want a convertible - I think the Jeep you just sold was a lot better.
However you sold it so you don't agree.
If I were looking for a Wrangler - I'd look for an early Rubicon - preferably from the DFW area.
The Rubi will get you all the good stuff Dana44's lockers 4:1 transfer case.
The DFW area - there are too many folks - especially around Plano that will buy their kids a new car for high school
and then trade it in for a new college car - when I was looking (in 05) there were 03 Rubi's that had never gone into 4wd.
now - these are higher priced - but lower mileage, newer (2 minutes of searching - nothing in depth)
and remember the price of Dana 44/locker/4:1 upgrades.

I like the 04 - Warn Winch, Warn Skid plates, Warn bumpers
