Holy spending spree. 5k???? Hopefully she bought you a lot of stuff.

Your jeep sounds like it will be coming along nicely though.

Lockers & skids?

I'm not going to complain about some of the things she bought with the money, but $450 on ornaments alone!!! good air in, bad air out, breathe, breathe...

Factory skids will work till they get dented up. Lockers were in the plan, but looks like they got pushed back... Need the winch up here, so That first, probably a Lockright ini back following that.

$450 on ornaments. I was surprised when my wife spent $25 on "Baby's 1st Xmas" ornaments. Ornaments are expensive. I thought they were like 2 bucks each.

You can always have the factory skids beefed up. As far as locker, I've got a D30 front DTT that I am probably going to be selling very soon. What gears wll you be running?

Still have 4.10's, I'll keep those until after supercharger install and reexamine.

Seriously though take tons of pics on your build. Are you doing the install yourself or is a shop?

Please! I do darn near everything myself. It may take forever, and there may even be an emergency room visit involved, but hey it builds character, and thats how you learn. Gears, are the one thing, that I have no idea about... some many moving parts, and they are so shiny!

The more quality time with your jeep the better. I am clueless about gear installs as well though.

Finally. Between snow, and avalanches, rain, flooding and mudslides. I have most of the parts ordered at the beginning of December. Still waiting on the rear Bumper and Tire carrier. Made it out at lunch today onto some of the two tracks around base, and got a bit muddy. Here is what we got...

AEV Pintler beadlocks. 17x9, 5 on 5, 4.75 BS. 315/70 (35's) ProComp Extreme M/T's.

And of course the Old Man Emu complete suspension lift
