The vultures are already parting out your TJ.

I was going to get the MOABS from my brother's but he decided to ditch the cragars (15's) and he got rear ended, so I couldn't take the rear bumper which is the one I want

I know, right?!

Steve, you'll have the longest wait. The front is being replaced before the rear (again, if I replace the rear?) Oh and I decided against the baja style tire carrier.

In two weeks, I have scheduled the weekend Saturday night and all day Sunday with a friend who owns a auto shop to begin the mods. I'm thinkin' spring!

Not yet. I've recently test driven a Grand Cherokee Laredo and a Ford Edge. I really liked them both. I'm probably going to lease whatever I decide on.

This weekend I have plans to install a JKS 1.25" Body Lift and a JKS 1" Motor Mount Lift. Also I bought a Hidden Hitch (round tube) rear receiver.

Next up is replacing all the OEM skids underneath (engine/trans/transfer case - aka;"shovel"/ gas tank. I am replacing all with aluminum. My gas tank skid is from Savvy. Then I am buying Engine, Trans, & Tummy Tuck Transfer Case (aluminum) skids from Undercover Fab Works.

Plus - I'm lifting the Rubi 2.5". I've recently learned the "hot setup" now is stuffing the biggest tires you can with the least amount of lift, so I am thinking I will add Gen-Right front Flat Fenders (3 1/2" wide) along with their 3 1/2" rear flares. I am being told I can run 35" M/T's this way. Of course I will need to re-gear both D44 diff's too if I decide to go this route.

More to come....

Thanks. It's taking a little longer than I thought it would to get it the way I want it. For the most part I think I know what I want and someone informs me of something else to check out. I've been getting some good advice and discovering new things on a couple of Jeep sites. Anyway I should be mod ready by summer. Functional or the really important stuff anyway.

I think you should buy it. Sell the KJ. And fix whatever needs fixing on the Rubi. :2cents:

It is a money pit tho, the KJ is perfect so far...the Rubicon is a manual and I hate manual on TJ's and the clutch is terrible

Well the 1.25" Body Lift along with the 1" motor mount lift was suppose to happen this Sunday but a friend and I screwed up thinking Easter was the following Sunday. So the weekend after Easter, it will finally get everything done.

Also, I'm waiting on word from a guy who is making some sic tube doors. Soon as I get final details, I'm ordering a set.

Meanwhile, I'm shopping around for the best price on Xenon flat flares (instead of going with real flat fenders).
