I've noticed on the recent Dr.Z Jeep commercial that they don't even show a Wrangler. Just the Grand Cherokee, Commander, and Liberty.

Sad to see a classic go away.

i know this topic is old, but I couldnt help but notice how the article offers great evidence to the thought that the KK is indeed the cousin of the dodge nitro. Im not here to bash the KK, but rather to offer some support for that argument:
Quote:
Parkway will be demolished, but Stickney will be used to ready parts for both the Wrangler and two vehicles, the Jeep Liberty and Dodge Nitro, being built in factories next door.

That article is dated June 29, 2006.

NO, NO, NO....The last TJ was built years ago and the last Wrangler absolutely was NOT built. It was the last Wrangler built in THAT PLANT. The first sentence of the fourth paragraph states clearly "Meanwhile, production of the redesigned Wrangler begins with four-door Unlimited models on July 17..."
