The best I can say about it is that I really like the charcoal color. The painted hard top looks nice, particularly from the inside, but it would get scratched to all heck in the removal/storage/replacement process. Also, leather and chrome and wood trim just don't have any place on a Wrangler--it all looks kind of tacky in my opinion. I think Jeep and Mopar released something similar called the "Black Tie Edition." The Ultimate seems to be all about appearance over function. It's basically a poser Jeep since no one would actually take it off-road--heaven forbid, they might scratch up the chrome side steps.

pimp my ride: jeep wrangler
id love to see this happen so i could have something to laugh about
I love how that show takes awful cars and makes them look real nice, you never find out if they still run like a POS or not. I remember on one show they just bought a whole new car because what they had to work with was so awful, which leads me to beleive that if the car they get still runs they just leave all of the actual mechanical parts as is and add a plethora or speakers and screens.

If they had shown a model with nothing but a hemi the 3" lift and 35" tires no one would complain. Add some chrome and the whining begins.

Personally I think they should offer it just like that. The general public...who buy the majority of them can have their shiny wheels and electronic gizmos and the offroaders could delete all the "bling" (or whatever you call it) and have themselves a 3" lift and 35's under warranty.
