I have been puzzling over this for a few days now. If you take the doors off, what do you do with the side mirrors? They are attached over the top hinge and I would think they wouldn't just go right back on without the door. You would still need the mirrors though, on-road or off. so how would you re-attach them? Also a related question, in the owners manual it says that if the doors are removed to pull out a certain fuse to keep the courtesy light from coming on and draining the battery. Where exactly is this fuse?

You need to relocate the mirrors. There are many aftermarket things that can be used.

I have tried several, that come with there own mirrors, but the best I have found are....

As for the fuse, yes. I have mine pulled out even it the doors are on.

But which fuse is it? I think it said fuse number 4 but which fuse block. I tried to pull the one in the block behind the glove box, but it didn't work. Unless I pulled the wrong one.

#4 behind the glove box is the correct one, so try again. It's bottom right.

It will also kill your Headlight On warning buzzer, just so's ya know.

The light will still go on for a couple of seconds, 15?, after the engine is shut down. And after you pull the fuse it will stay on. I'll get you more info tonight.

Do you need mirrors in your area by law? Where I live you only need one mirror that is unobstructed and can be the rear view windshield mount. Takes some getting used to without them but if you shoulder check really well your good to go. My fuse #4 is umm.....hrmm guess I tossed it hehe

I have been riding with the mirrors off when I take the doors off. You just have to look over your shoulder. As for the fuse what everyone is saying is right. #4 behind the glove box. The lights will stay on for a couple of seconds even after the fuse is pulled.

Not sure, but I still don't want to take a chance and get pulled over for it. That is why I asked the question to begin with.
