Post subject:  TJ's maiden voyage and fender flare question

Well the new TJ did very well on its milk run at Big Bear last weekend. We made a list of stupid little things to get done and found nothing it could not do. Swallowed my pride and had to use the lockers twice, briefly.

It rained, therefore we got very wet. That's ok but the tires threw a lot of mud and gunk onto the tub and onto us. Anybody have recommendations on wider flares? I've been warned off of Bushwackers.

None of the pics are posers

Word is they are not flexible enough and can break. Supposedly there are better brands out there but I haven't surveyed yet.

ken: I wanna rerun Strawberry again but needed to lick my wounds after Big Bear. Plus some wrenching on the KJ and Passat.

Following Sunday is ok but only with the KJ as the TJ will be with my son at Loon Lake (and perhaps on a piece of the Rubicon.). Will have the TJ for the 13th. What do you have in mind?
