I test drove one of this Babies on Friday 9/29/06. The ride is a lot smoother than the regular Wrangler. The dealer guy didn’t know sh*t his response to almost all of my questions was “I’m fairly new here”. The only help he was was in handing me the keys. It’s got a nice huge axles and a drive shaft that looking like it came from a semi-truck. Great turning radiance. Just giving you my .02 cents.

Do you mean the new wranglers? The JK? I believe the KK's are the new 2008 Liberty's and I don't think they are out on a sales lot.

Its very difficult to get your hands on one of those over here. Once they arrive on the lot they are already sold. I have to check them out today and see how the v6 handles.

Kalo Jeep in Nobelsville has 3. Two of the are the 4door and the 2door is a Red rock pearl Rubi.
That elect swaybar is kind of kool. there is a Electric Motor/Trans in front that the swaybar runs into. Push the button and it disconnects the 2 sides. Push it again and it reconnects the swaybar. and has no outside moveing parts. from what i saw it has to be in 4x4 to work.
also it automaticly engages above 18 mph.

Here in Phoenix theyve got them sitting on dealer lots with not much of a markup at all.

It looks like there is no markup at Kalo as well. I havent checked the other dealers around Indy though.
POLO Jeep in Muncie, IN. has a website that claim to sell cheap. Its a very small lot in person

Our dealership finially got one of the new 2007 Unlimiteds in on thursday night... My wife was so excited she went out with a cold to go check it out.. She test drove it to the house so I could look at it.. It was an X model.. Very nice.. and LONG!!! We compared it to our old YJ and it is about half a length longer... But the ride was nice.. My wife almost bought it but I told her to wait.. We want the Rubicon model and the dealership should have one by the end of next week.. Needless to say, the Unlimited she was test driving was sold later that day.... I have a feeling that Jeep created a monster on their hands.. LOL
I see alot of these things being sold as long as gas prices stay down.. But the moment gas prices go up.. Their sales are going to drop off... All I know is we want one.. And we want it bad...

Has anyone else test drove one yet?

Ben

I would look closely at what you want it for befor you run out and buy one
we took one on the "test track" at the local dealer ship it was a 4 door 4X4 and had to get a strap off of one of the steepest hills and had trouble with a few more
When we built it ,the "test track", we used our stock KJ as the "tester" and made it doable but difficult what we found is that the longer wheel base and the way the shiks are placed they get hung up but the kj is smoth on the bottom
I also dont like the huge D/S with the puney little CV on the end
just my .02
