Well.. I took the plunge.. I have ordered a 07 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.. It is going to be Light Greystone with a Khaki interior.. I also worked out a deal with the dealership to throw in the Mopar front bumper and a Warn winch.. It should be delivered in about 4 to 6 weeks... But I didn't trade in my Libby.. Still own it... Will keep you informed when it arrives..

Ben

Well.. I got an extented warrenty (7/70000), first 50,000 miles of maintence and stuff.. I got it in an automatic.. Getting a little old to be shifting gears on a trail.. LOL Also got it as a dual top, dark tint, Power Convence Group and the bumper and winch..

Grand total was $35,000..

I know.. OUCH!!! LOL When it comes in, I will take pics and stuff... Going to wait for about a year before putting a lift... See what options I will have... I know one thing.. They did away with the slip yoke.. No more SYE Kits for the Rubi... :D :D :D

At least with that Jeep, you can get by without a lift pretty easy. It'll be tempting anyway, but it's great that it holds its own stock.

Looks like no slip yoke in my '06 Unlimited Rubicon.

I thought long and hard about getting the '07, but I prefer to avoid 1st year models, too much new and untried. Opted for an '06 instead, and got a pretty decent deal.

What do you mean you had to haggle to get the bumper and winch....isn't that an option that you have anyway?

Why would they give you trouble about getting it.....its advertised on the Jeep sites as an option??

Maybe I'm wrong? ;)

I may be ordering one soon as well.....the new Libertys are not impressing me at all.

I'll be keeping the '06 Renegade.....but won't be getting a new Liberty.
