Isn't there a law about having something stick out the back of your vehicle past your brake lights? And you need a red flag? Does that make since??

I think (at least in ohio) anything over 3ft requires a flag. Might be different depending on location though.

So, does that mean a bike rack warrents a flag. I am sure that the ones that attach to the spare tire on the Jeep will travel well past the 3 foot mark.

in CA it's 4 feet or more beyond the back, then you you're supposed to put a red flag on it.

The doordock is a waste of money IMO. Why not just get some soft doors to run when it's warm out. You can just stash them behind the rear seat and cable lock them to the rollbars for security when not in use. Thats what I'm doing for this summer. Hard doors are way too expensive to just hang off the back of my Jeep. They are more secure hanging in my garage for the summer.
