hi guys, i was just GIVEN, yes GIVEN a 87 YJ by a friend of mine. im used to and sorta familiar with my KJ, but new to the wrangler thing. ok, i need a radiator, and likely a master cylinder-brake booster. also, im thinking down the road to a simple lift, maybe SOA or something to get those rear springs away from the rocks. can anyone advise me on where to find parts for such an old baby, and how bout some advise on lifting her. thanx in advance bob |

Kinda hate to stear you away from here but..... Check on JU and Pirate for parts as there is always someone upgrading a YJ on those sites and looking to sell off their old goodies. They also have some uesful tech if you dig around and prepare yourself to be treated like a newb. jeepforum.com might also have the info you seek and might be a little friendlier. BTW, w/ all that said, YOU MUST COME BACK HERE AND POST UP SOME TECH ABOUT WHAT YOU FIND OUT ABOUT YOUR YJ TO SHARE!!! Please? Ok? TYVM! ![]() ![]() |

I would highly suggest investing in an aftermarket radiator if you have to purchase one. Stock radiators aren't worth buying... |

we have a 3-row brass radiator in our 1999 TJ 4.0. it was ordered through All J and i believe it came from www.raditor.com and was around $150 wholesale about 2 years ago. |
