I was watching Extreme 4x4 yesterday and they did an axle swap on a JK Unlimited for a Dana 44 front end. They got the Rubicon 44 from Quadratec. The only problem was they had to re-use the stock knuckles off the 30 because they had all the electronics attached for the ABS and ESP. They said that if you don't hook that stuff back up, the ECM won't let the engine fire. I know nobody is probably thinking of doing an axle swap yet but just thought I would throw it out there.

Oh but I am not only thinking about it but planning one. So I guess I should go look into this as my plans revolve around an aftermarket set of D60's. Hmm.....back to the drawing board.....
