NOICE RUBI!! :D Got any tech to add about the process of getting it looking so good?

not sure if I really have any tech to add.

I went with a tried and tested kit - the place I bought it from sells about 500 identical kits alone per year. That doesn't count all the other vendors who sell em. Its a standard Old Man Emu Heavy Duty 2.5" Kit (Springs and Shocks) combined with a JKS 1.25" Body Lift, Motor Mount Lift, and Quicker Disconnects. Many, many folks on the Rubicon Owners Forum site run this setup.

I had planned on the new Hankook Dynapro MT RT03 Tires, but they are on 90 day national backorder, and I didn't wanna run around that long on the stock MTRs, so I went for choice #2, the Mickey T MTZs. Again, 285-75-16 is a tried and tested size with this lift kit.

Other than that, in the past year I added Warn bumpers I got used from a local jeep club's classified ads and some ebay knockoff Bushwacker flares.

Thanks for all the compliments!

It seems that everyone that runs OME stuff loves it. Got a tummy tucker yet? Did you do the wrenching on it?

I do not have a tummy tucker yet - I will need to buy a CV driveshaft at the same time, so that's about another $800-$1000, plus I'd feel more comfortable if I had a djustable control arms at that point too, so lets call it $1500-$1700.

I did do all the wrenching along with KJ-BOL, FreeJeep, and a buddy from work. BakerKJ stopped by for moral support a couple time throughout the day too.

Man, I wanna bring the rubicon, but my whole family is coming this year. 4 in a wrangler for 1200 miles each way will be tough. Gotta figure out how to carry all of us and our gear in such a small vehicle. Might have to suffice with the KJ for one more trip until I get my JK. We'll see what happens. I'll keep it a surprise.
