Just wondering if the JK's with the ESP and the manual have the same software bug that kicks in when you pull out and turn while accelerating hard to beat traffic. Anyone have one?

Mine hasn't done it at all.

On the other hand, we have an 07 KJ that doesn't do it either.

I love my JK, the traction control pretty much never comes on unless I try to make it come on. It's also pretty uninvasive once it does come on, like...you notice that it's working, but the truck just does what you would want it to do anyway.

I think that you might just be driving a bit fast for your KJ perhaps? Can't you just turn the Traction Control off in it? I know that in the JK if you hold the TC button for 5 seconds it shuts it off completley, maybe it works similarly in the KJ?

I admit, I special allowances for the truck. I drive it like I drive. The ESP off button only turn it off until power cycles again. I'm glad to hear about the TC off button. I can consider JK's too now...
