Well, It has the D44 out back. I'm guessing it's still a 30 up front, but I'll have to look.
I have a bunch of the safety/recovery gear from the KJ, so that's good. Just need the high-lift.
As for the lift, I'm working into it backwards. I have 235/85r16's from the KJ that I love. I plan on getting a cheap set of rims for them, then running them off road only. (99%DD) So, what size lift do I need to acomplish that?
The D44 out back is a good thing

As far as I know you could probably manage to squeeze those tires into your LJ w/o a lift, but you may need to trim and such (you KJ guys are used to that

) I would recommend gettin a BB (Budget Boost) which is essentially a small, cheap lift that will allow you to clear up to 33s depending on the size and such. I never went this route, but many people do. I also went with the JKS 1.25" BL as well to clear extra room and allow me to get a TT and raised the gas tank bout an inch or so...as far as cheap rims, mine were like $40 each from Summit Racing and shipping was free...US Wheels (black steel). They get chewed up on the rocks but can take a good beatin and they also can be hammered back if ya bend em or something (dont know how hardcore ya wheel...). They do come w/ a t-case skid, but I would upgrade from it as it tends to catch up on rocks and such, so go with the TT...you can also get either a full engine skid, which would cover the tranny and the oil pan, or you can get just an oil pan skid from many places...just check out Northridge4x4.com you will spend hours lookin at stuff ya need and then call Dave and tell him the guys from ROF sent ya

He may give ya a deal...
