Budget lift questions: for 97 TJ

I am on a tight budget..so my questions are:

has anyone used the budget poly lift kit (CS Spacers).. looking at adding a 2 inch at the moment, w/ 31 inch or 32 inch tires.

Then eventually when i'm back on my feet, add a suspension lift,
Anyone advise against? poly kits? good or bad?

And wheel size.. 15x8 the best option for a wrangler?
And are 15x10 too big for a stock wrangler? w/ all stock components. ?

Budget boosts are fine for guys on a budget ( :lol:

). You should get slightly longer shocks though to maximize flex. Most BB come with them. As for wheels, stick with a 15x8 as a 15x10 will make your tires rub all over the place.

Agreed. If you are on a real tight budget then why not wait until you can afford a nicer short arm lift? Just IMO. Also if ya do go the way of the BB, Full Traction makes a nice one as well as Rubicon Express, and others out there. Good luck and post pics when ya install what your gonna get

Thanks guys... I was laid off from my job..hence being on a tight budget.. I want to attend the jeep jamboree in Sept 07 up here.. so I gotta get her lifted..
I'll look at full traction/skyjacker/rubicon express kits as well as if they come w/ shocks..

Can't lift the liberty... so Wrangler it is.. lol..

Just be warned
Poly spacers can crush
I had a set that was in the rear of my TJ crush and deform when I was wheelin out in Telico
this caused me to loose 1" of lift and thus my rear was banging all over the trail as well as sounding like a 30 year old jeep that had never seen a grease gun
they are fine for the front but the way that the springs apply the load to them on the rear is what caused my problem

ProComp makes an aluminum spacer that is much more durable than the poly spacers

with out the wench add 3/4 to 1" the wait of the winch
I can fit the tires off the Liberty and it looks great 265/75/16 but the tires wont fit the Liberty from the LJ.
next is 1" BL and 32/11.5/15 and wife gets it back.
side note my Daystar spacers have been on the Liberty from the beginning but the bumper stops are all but gone (crushed ,broken. worn out. call it what you want but they are terrible.
