OK, I ordered a TeraFlex Antenna mount http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190102306446 for the rear of the Jeep, now I could use some advice on where to drop the CB itself. If it was a small one, I'd have more options, but it's a full sized one....

Lots of options here...seems that most guys use the overhead option, whether they spring for the Tuffy overhead console or something similar, or they just custom fab up their own. Some guys like mounting it under the seats, but then adjustments are hard to do and it is hard to hear w/o an external speaker. Some guys mount it w/the controls facin up on the backside of the center console (in where the rear cupholders are). Some guys mount it right to the dash, some mount it right to the left of the t-case shifter. There are SOOOOO many options out there to mount em just gotta know your dimensions of yours and all that and choose one 8) Mine used to be mounted right to the dash, but I pulled it and now I am tryin to decide where to mount it now...got a few ideas I'm kickin round

Full size ones are tough to mount
I used a huge hose clamp and clamped it to my Toys by Troy cage center bar where it mounts to the OE roll cage
but I have a cobra ??19?? little small one

You may be able to do something like this but using smaller clamps to the OE bar between the driver and passenger
hide the wires in the padding
I would guess that you have 2 seprate sound pods not the one that goes all the way across right?

I can get pics if you like of how I did mine I like it close so I can hear it going at highway speeds with the windows down
