Anybody removed the tcase from a TJ? Mine's ready to pull but I can believe how much trouble I'm having putting a wrench on the top two bolts that attach it to the tranny. No room.

Any tricks I should know about?

Try a moon wrench(just in case a moon wrench is a double box end wrench that is bent in a shape of a half moon).The Hummer's I work on are the same way,no room, half to use a moon wrench to get the top 2 nuts off.Or you could cut a access hole in the body tunnel :shock: :lol: .

Just got the dang thing out. Took a stubby wrench, lowered the tranny about 2", and a BFH to loosen the nuts.

Ready to install the Teralow now.
