ok guys, ijust bought a 90 mustang lx with a 5.0 and aod.im debating on whether or not to keep it because the interior was badly damaged by rodents.thinking of buying a wrangler or xj and maybe putting in the 5.0.is this a possible swap?has anyone done it? |

I know it's been done, as I wheeled with a guy in KY that put a 5.0 in his wrangler. |

Very doable I wheeled with guys running LT1's in a TJ and a YJ also a YJ with a 4.6 from a newer stang so I dont see the 5.0 being a problem Now for a while my brother had a crazy idea for a bronco II and a 5.0 find one 4X4 with a blown 4.0 V6 and a 5 speed and the 5.0 is direct bolt in he had a wrecked GT street racer 350+ HP with NOS now that in a bronco II with 35's look out sure the front diff would be toast but boy it would rock |

Ya... I remember this one in KY... BUT.... also remember that he was the one that split his driveshaft in two right at the first obstacle.... So, , yes doable, but lot more things probably are needed I'll try to find a link to his page - If I remember right, he has been keeping a log of everything he did on his. |
