That's a little high for the mileage. Kelly Blue Book for that year with those miles in good condition is only $6600. Looks like the seller is trying to get you to pay for the tube fenders, crusher corners and bumpers. If you think it's worth it to pay for that much for those upgrades, then by all means buy it. But I don't think it's worth it. Also, watch out with those crusher corners. Some people only put them on once they have already dented up the tub real bad so it looks good. |

Unless you really want a convertible - I think the Jeep you just sold was a lot better. However you sold it so you don't agree. If I were looking for a Wrangler - I'd look for an early Rubicon - preferably from the DFW area. The Rubi will get you all the good stuff Dana44's lockers 4:1 transfer case. The DFW area - there are too many folks - especially around Plano that will buy their kids a new car for high school and then trade it in for a new college car - when I was looking (in 05) there were 03 Rubi's that had never gone into 4wd. now - these are higher priced - but lower mileage, newer (2 minutes of searching - nothing in depth) and remember the price of Dana 44/locker/4:1 upgrades. http://tinyurl.com/2ptklq http://tinyurl.com/25rlaq http://tinyurl.com/3xuypx (Overin Craigslist) http://dallas.craigslist.org/car/537073532.html http://dallas.craigslist.org/car/532414161.html I like the 04 - Warn Winch, Warn Skid plates, Warn bumpers and the Jeep has not been offroad but is ready.......... |

Have seen late late model TJ's(2000+) on the Colorado4x4 board with the same corners and such but also come with a winch,at least 4.5 RE lift,35" tires,ARB's F/R,gears,and upgraded axles with half the mileage going for less then $8000 often. |

simply put NO guy just sold one locally for 10K less miles on it 2001 model ,winch almost new tires and in very good shape Keep shopping you could spend a few more dollars and get a Rubi IMO the seller is trying to get most of his investment in mods back not going to happen ,at least not that much also looking at it that things is just for looks not for trails "all show no go" BB and 33's? no regear? what rear diff? Dana35? no lockers? no cage up grade? ( front sport cage at least) To me that is a stock TJ with a BB and 33's nothing more |
