OK, being that fall is right around the corner she really needs tires. My g-friend will probably never wheel her Jeep she just like the look of a taller more aggressive Jeep. So I was able to locate a used 2.5” BB lift on the cheap, we’re looking for bumpstops next. Now my question is what size of tire should we go with? She had the OEM steelies Without any rubbing or upgrade on the suspension.

Here is the tire we’re thinking about from Treadwright.com

Sorry about the HUGE pic.

If the jeep will see mostly pavement I wouldnt waste money on the good year mt/r's. They will look cool but not worth it.

Same thing I said but these are rethreads and they are priced less then $100 a piece. She want's larger more aggresive tires. So what do you think will they fit?

With just the budget boost, don't go any bigger than a 32" tire. If you throw in a 1" body lift, you can get away with 33's. You can get a couple of tires in a 10" wide for a 33 but most will be a 12" wide tire. For that you will need wheel spacers or new wheels with about 4 inches of backspacing.

If I missed it I am sorry
what kind of running gear in this Jeep?
4 or 6?
auto or stick?
what gears ,3.07 ,3.55 or 3.73 if it is a 4 then you have 4.10's

if you have the 4 bangger then 31's but NO bigger and even then it will be some what of a dog
The same will go if it is a 6 with 3.07's it will be a little better with 3.55's but you would be OK with 32's and 3.73's
I run 31's and 3.73's and would run a 32 and be satisfied I will NOT run 33's and 3.73's I would need at least 4.10's
If you have the 4 bangger then you can run 32 or maybe push 33's with 4.56's

now with a BB and OE wheels you can fit 32's comfortably

If you run the MT/R's stay away from the E load rating, those things are stiff. Much better ride with something like a C .
