Saw this JK posted on the CO4x4 board. It's about the first JK I like. It's sitting on 40" tires and running Currie RockJock60 axles F/R,not to found of the tires but I like the overall look.

I'd still much rather have an LJ with the same mods done to it, but that is a nice jeep. IMHO the LJ is the best jeep vehicle ever produced, but tons of other jeeps are pretty sweet. Something about the new jk just doesn't quite sit right with me though. :? I say why bother with fender flares at all if you run 40s, it looks like he should be running larger wheels too, but other than that, very nicely done. My 2 cents.

Some places you must have some sort of flares, smaller wheels equal better offroad ability(tire flex) then larger wheels due to more tire sidewall(those are 17" rims on that JK by the way,I'd personally would run 15" rims).

I know what you mean. I saw one going down the road the other day from behind, and it looked ..... weird. Almost didn't recognize what it was until I got closer.

I do like them, and I'm going to get one, one of these days, but they just haven't grown on me yet.
