When I bought the CJ it didn't have a gas tank ( the po had a plastic 1 gal gas can under the battery ) so I went and bought a summit fuel cell with the intention of mounting it where the rear seats are supposed to live.

now for a slew of questions

1) Has anyone swapped out a gas tank for a summit fuel cell and if so do you have any words of wisdom?
2) Are there special fittings I need for affixing the fuel lines to the tank?
2a) I've seen pictures of other jeeps with fuel cells and they have steel lines... is it wrong to use rubber?
3) The fuel cell has a sender... how do I hook it up?
4) Since the po was running out of a gas can with no return, am I going to have the right vacuum in the line with the fuel cell?

I agree.....

I would At Least run stainless braided line from the tank to the engine, you Really don't want to have that much rubber line in a fuel system. You will probably need some AN fittings which you can get through Summit too.

I would check out maybe Pirate or JU in the CJ sections for more detailed info from one of their members since we can only guess how it will all shake out for sure.
