Looks awesome. 37s on those JKs are perfect. 35s ain't too bad either though. 8) Looks really sharp. May have already asked, did you keep the 4.10s? I wish AEV would make those wheels with a black outer rim. Can't wait to see more.

Thanks, and yep still have the 4.10's. They are no where near as bad as what you would think. Still alot of power available. It's just like before the tires, plenty of power, it just doesn't make you go ooooh at all.

As for the AEV wheels. The Rock Ring is raw aluminum. Just rattle can it prior to installation.

Well, there you go for the wheels. I am sure the 4.10 are not bad. Just like the 3.73 aren't that bad with 31s. It might not be ideal, but it works and you can still wheel. Good choices all around.

OK, what I've accomplished this week...

Fabbed up a mount for the the third brake light out of some scrap diamond plate. I'm legal again!

Sprayed the Front bumper and Sliders with Hamerite paint. The black just made the JK to dark to me, and the color looks close to the Argent on the wheels. I also used some gray nonskid tape to create a step area. Rear bumper may get done this weekend depending on motivation.

Then finally got off my duff about my fenders. Since the high clearance set that I want is still on back order, I decided to take matters into my own hands...

So I started taping and laying out the lines.

Took a deep breath. Started cutting...

Sanded down the cuts, and threw on some of the door edge molding that you can pick up at any auto parts store.

Finished!

35's are tiny!!!

Is there more to this, or is this just "in general". Inside joke maybe?

No since they tripled in price I've got my eye out for a used one. Though the new 30's are strong enough for 35's, so it's not a super rush.

Man that sucks that they jumped so much. People are always selling them off their rubi though and that 30 will do for now. What do the 4 doors weigh anyway?
