from stock to monstertruck in 5 posts LOL :SOMBRERO:

How are those doors working? Been thinking about getting me a set because the OEM half doors are way to expensive.

Tony, the doors are good for what they are. But they don't seal completely. So if you are looking for something to keep the majority of the elements out of the jeep they are fine. A good replacement to keep you completely dry and toasty. Not so much.

Finally got around to trussing the axle and boxing the LCA's. Ugly but they aren't for looks.

Nice Pics! Daspes, does the 3.6L Pentastar V6 make a big difference?

Huge difference!!! More power everywhere even on 3.73's than the 07 which had the supercharger and 5.13's

What exactly is the grill mod and it's purpose?

Expanded metal (painted body color in the pic) behind the seven slots to help protect the radiator from damage from rocks, and small animals that hit it at highway speed...

That makes sense. What did Jeep use to protect the radiator?

Wow, I'm surprised. Did you have to custom fabricate the screen or is the screen precut and sold through an aftermarket manufacturer?

Lowes or home depot. Grab a sheet of expanded metal for about 10 bucks, some zip ties, self adhesive zip tie mounts, and a rattle can of your favorite color. Total cost less than 20 bucks. The expanded metal will need to be cut to size but there is enough to do three grills. You can do this to Libby grills too.

Nice Pictures Mike! The JK looks very capable. Are you still planning to retire in Colorado?

Starting the move next summer. With the divorce I lost the acreage. So now looking at the mountain communities close to Denver.

And thanks for the compliment on the rig.
