All I know is that my TJ rides like crap compaired to my KJ. And it makes a helufalot more noise :mrgreen:

hey man love the jeep, just curious on the how you did the bed liner interior things like price, products used, time and difficulty.
Thinking about getting a JK here in a couple of months and i would like to do this mod

I used 1 gallon of Durabak. Price was a little over a 100 with shipping. Another 10 bucks for a cheap shutz gun from Harbor Freight. Everything else I already had. Wire whee and drill to scuff the paint. Air chisel to knock out the factory sound deadening material on the floor boards. Compressor, etc.

All and all easy job prep one day and spray the second.

It actually may be going away this weekend. Replaced with a 2012 2 door. I'll be transferring everything that fits over. Tires, suspension, axles, CA's etc. though.

Couple of reasons. Size of the four door and it's affect on performance and economy, don't need the seating anymore and lastly it's cheaper...

Well anywho... The Gorilla has been retired. Here's the new JK.

Thanks Tony. First two mods done. Cool-tech gate mount and 4' firestick II.

And plasti-dipped the grill.

Tires, wheels, lift, shocks, sliders, front bumper, tube fenders, exhaust extesions, pro-cal and mirror relo brackets ordered. Lead time on the bigger items have a lead time of about 3-4 weeks. So the build begins in earnest around the end of the month.

Gotten a few things done on the 1. Lift is in, but still waiting on fenders, sliders, band bumper.

Did the famous mirror mod.

Relocated the Drivers side mirror.

Added the Hitch.

Shaved 29 lbs by yanking the Factory muffler. The 12's now have a resonator inline where I had welded my glass pack on the 07. Sounds OK for now, but I'll give it a few weeks to see if I like the sound or not. Vid at the end is the sound clip with door open then closed.

Latest Update...

Sliders are in, but still waiting to be installed and Tires will be delivered on Friday.

Fenders, bumper and lift are installed though!!!

Oh and new plates are in too.
