You will be amazed at how quickly all that extra junk adds up. When I am loaded up for a 3 day trip in my TJ I tip the scales at just over 5,000#.

BTW, very nice job on the flares! I love the way it looks!

Thanks all, The CB went in today. Pretty happy with the install. Mounted the Antennae inside the liscense plate mount. Pics to follow some time this week, busy next few days.

Were you getting rub on the fenders with the 35s?

No, But I hadn't had the need to disco yet either. Don't think I would have then either, but doesn't hurt to be safe, besides, I like the Hi Clearance look.

Took the jeeps camping this weekend, so have a couple of new shots of the JK.

Comparison JK (OME on 35's) vs. KJ (Frankenlift with clevis and extra rear daystar puck on 32's).

Image

Headed up Twin lakes Rd. Made it shortly past the snow line but couldn't push any further though. Sadly the KJ on AT's performed so much better than the JK on it's MT's.

Image

Then we saw an innocent looking pile of rocks... What else could I do?

Image

Yep, That's right!

Image
Image
Image

Full stuff on the Passenger rear, Drivers rear is about a half inch off the ground... Plenty of room for 37's. :D

Image
Image

After I jumped out, I looked under the wrangler, and see a steady stream on fluid hitting the rocks below. Oh Poop

Image

After the sinking feeling in my gut receded, found the source...

Image

Just packed Ice from the trail! Whew!

On a side not if you have removable mud flaps, don't forget to pull em off before hitting the trail, or the trail will do it for you.... :(

Got the Warn bumper pulled off and mounted to the KJ, and the Rugged Ridge XHD Modular and Stinger thrown on.

Now, who wants to donate to the winch fund, need three of em now...

More to come in the next few weeks.

We finally got a local group started here on the Island and met up this morning for our inaugural run to the closest ORV park Walker Valley.
Excellent run all and all. Jenny broke the CB Antennae mount.... :? Saw a Toyota flop. Stupid elliptical springs, and stupid driver. And one blown tire on a stock ZJ.

A big grip of pics.
