Yeah but those are so sexy! Just wait till winter! Watching the snow melt off the vents in minutes when the rest of the Jeep is covered is awesome.

Been way to long since I updated this...

Here's the latest pic as she sat in the parking lot at work.

I've added since the last post a second Bestop Trektop... I've gotta say, the quality is substandard, and the fit is poo too. And boy is it loud! We're talking louder than a YJ soft top!

I've also added aTeraflex Monster HD Forged Trackbar to replace the JKS adjustable TB that sheared in the center. Once again, not recommending the JKS to anyone in the future either. TH TF versin for not to much more, is substantially a better product. YOU WILL NOT BREAK IT!

Also threw on Skyjacker high clearance front and rear LCA's for a 4" lift along with their quick disco's.

Superlift's adjustable Rockrunner front UCA's.

Here in the next few weeks I'll be (finally) doing the 5.13's, picking up some recenter H1 wheels with 37's, a superchips programmer, and a bunch of other maybes ( I can't make up my mind...).

You know I always thought those trektops would look really cool if there was a tire carrier that put the tire up high at the same angle as the back of the top... would make for nice departure angle too... not so much for getting in the back of the jeep though :lol:

Pulled the trigger today. Got a sweet deal from Ripp Mods on a new Supercharger kit for the JK!!! Hope to have it delivered by the weekend. I'll keep the install documented and give impressions. Stay tuned!

Well evening update...

I'm 90 percent complete. I was snapping pictures of each step till the wife got home. She came out to ask what i was doing... I told her I was rewiring my lights that I took off 2 weeks ago... She doesn't know, and nobody's telling, got it!!!

So the SC is in and loosely bolted in... I have to bring it forward about 1/8" to make sure the belts line up before tighting her down. Wiring, piping, and everything else is done except for getting the belt over the last darn pulley... I need a 250 lb buddy to help me with that I think... Tomorrow I'll bust out the ratchet strap to assist in loosening it up some more. I still have three spark plugs to change out. The Water/Methanol injector is hooked up, but not powered yet, I'll do that tomorrow too.

So the to do list for tomorrow is:
1. Get belt the rest of the way on. Curse some.
2. Change 3 plugs. Curse some.
3. Try to get the belt on some again.
4. Work on last spark plug
5. Wire the boost injector.
6. Actually mount and rewire the Hella's

For now, I'm sore, my back hurts, my hands are shaped like claws and I'm tired... Going to enjoy one of these and relax for the evening.

What are the other two vehicles? I was thinking that you'll be done with your JK one of these days and will need another vehicle to work on. It's an addiction........ :shock:
